This Privacy Policy explains how ReadingPro ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the ReadingPro mobile application (the "Application" or "Service").

We designed ReadingPro with your privacy as a top priority. Our goal is to collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide and improve our Service. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as your name, age, gender, or contacts.

By using our Application, you agree to the handling of your information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Handle

We do not collect personally identifiable information. We only handle the data necessary for the Application to function and improve.

1.1. Account Identifier

These identifiers cannot be used to determine your real-world identity.

1.2. User Content & Learning Data

1.3. Automatically Collected Usage Data

To improve our Application and fix bugs, we collect a limited amount of anonymous usage and technical data:

This data is always aggregated and anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we handle strictly for the following purposes:

3. YouTube API Services

Our Audiovisual Learning feature uses the YouTube API Services. By using this feature, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. To understand how Google handles data, please review the Google Privacy Policy.

ReadingPro does not collect or store any information about your YouTube viewing activity or the videos you watch.

While our app does not provide a direct interface, you can always revoke the Application's access to your YouTube data via the Google security settings page. This is your right, and we are required by Google to inform you of it.

4. Apple iTunes Search API

Our Podcast feature uses the Apple iTunes Search API to search and retrieve publicly available podcast directory information, such as podcast titles, descriptions, artwork, and episode listings.

ReadingPro acts as a platform that provides access to publicly available podcasts. All podcast content, including audio, artwork, and descriptions, is the property of the respective podcast creators and rights holders. We do not own or claim any rights to the podcast content.

ReadingPro does not collect or store any information about your podcast listening activity, such as which podcasts you listen to or your listening history, beyond what is necessary to provide the playback functionality on your device.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to help us operate and improve the Application. These services have their own privacy policies.

We only share aggregated, anonymized data with these services for analytics and service improvement.

6. Data Deletion

We believe in giving you full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from the Profile page within the Application. No need to contact us.

Once you delete your account, all your information, including your account identifier and learning data, is immediately and permanently erased from our servers. We do not keep any backups of deleted accounts.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is designed for users of all ages, including children. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, especially children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The only identifiers we use are anonymous or pseudonymous (Apple/Google pseudonymous IDs or device-generated UUIDs), which cannot be used to determine a child's real-world identity.

Important Note for Parents and Guardians: While we protect children's privacy, please be aware that the educational content available through ReadingPro—including videos from sources like BBC Learning English, TED, The Economist, and classic literature from the Gutenberg Project—may cover complex topics, mature themes, or advanced concepts. We strongly recommend that parents and guardians review content selections and supervise their children's use of the Application to ensure age-appropriate learning experiences.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child's use of ReadingPro, please contact us at service@ttyy.io.

8. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your information. We use industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data we handle.
